Oden Technologies

Solutions Engineer

Oden Technologies

RemoteNew York City, Boston, Minneapolis, Austin, Chicago, Atlanta

About Oden: Manufacturing is undergoing its fourth industrial revolution, with factory operations increasingly driven by real-time applications that combine process and context data with advanced ML and AI algorithms. This is unlocking a staggering opportunity to improve the efficiency and productivity of existing manufacturing processes. As a Manufacturing AI company, Oden is at the forefront of this revolution. We combine large-scale data processing architectures and advanced AI and ML algorithms within the Oden platform so manufacturing operations teams can continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize their production, across a diverse set of processes and conditions. Our goal is to maximize efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness in the manufacturing domain - to help True Makers Make Things Better! Culture We obsess over customers. Everything we do is to create profound results and delight for our customers. Every Viking cares about the purpose of the product and company, and prioritizes work based on customer end results. When in doubt, we go to the Gemba – we’re happy to put on steel toe boots and hit the factory floor to work with the production manager. We move fast and follow through – we live by transparent and scientific thinking, act with urgency, and put in the work to find the best ideas with those around us. We elevate each other by giving and receiving direct, honest feedback and holding ourselves and others to a high standard to help the team rise, deliver, and win together. “Be True Makers to Serve True Makers.” We’re building a community that fuels innovation and accelerates our pace and impact. We always ask if there’s a better way to do something, even if it`s unconventional – then we try it. We aim for bold yet simple solutions that cut through complexity and drive meaningful progress. The Solutions Engineer is a core member of Oden’s post-sales team, responsible for delivering the technical work that makes our enterprise manufacturing customers successful. The post-sales team includes Solutions Managers, Customer Success Engineers, and other Solutions Engineers depending on the size and complexity of the account. On smaller accounts, you’ll be the main technical resource, working in close partnership with the Customer Success Engineer who coordinates the customer relationship and adoption side. On larger, multi-site programmes, you’ll go deep on technical execution as part of a team coordinated by a Solutions Manager. As an engineer in a technical role, you will design and build integration solutions that allow the Oden platform to connect to different factory systems and APIs. You will work closely with the Oden Data Science team to design and build AI and ML based solutions to customer problems, configure and deploy these solutions within the Oden platform, and drive the technical outcomes that keep deployments on track and customers seeing value. Strong data analytical skills - to be able to interpret data from the customer, triage issues, understand failure modes and deliver fixes are key to the role. You will also be expected to work closely with the core product and platform engineering team to set up requirements, and drive updates and improvements to the product capabilities. This role requires strong data handling and analysis fundamentals, attention to detail, technical depth — Python, Golang, SQL, APIs, ETL pipelines, use of AI agents for coding, analysis, and automation — alongside the customer-facing instincts to build trust with a plant manager and the product sensibility to translate what you see on the floor into meaningful input for Product and Engineering. Responsibilities Customer Partnership Serve as the primary technical resource on assigned accounts — from discovery and solution design through deployment, integration, and ongoing technical support Work in close partnership with the Solutions Manager and Customer Success Engineers, ensuring technical and relationship responsibilities are clearly covered across the team Build trusted relationships with customer technical leads, IT teams, and manufacturing operations stakeholders — becoming the go-to for technical questions, troubleshooting, and integration guidance Proactively surface technical risks and blockers early, and pull in the right internal expertise when needed to keep deployments on track Technical Solution Design and Implementation Collaborate with Sales, Data Science, and Product Engineering to understand customer use cases, data integration requirements, and technical constraints given the different data models across customers and Oden. Design and implement technical solutions that integrate relevant data sources to Oden’s cloud endpoints, including system configurations, data architecture, and integration requirements. Have a strong understanding of the correctness and performance (latency/uptime) for every deployed integration. These are complex distributed systems and being able to understand their interactions and points of failure is critical. Oversee integration with existing manufacturing systems including ERP, MES, and QMS platforms; manage dependencies, sequencing, and technical risks across systems Develop, maintain, and improve connector libraries that interface Oden with common manufacturing and enterprise systems — building reusable tooling that makes future deployments faster and more repeatable. Collaborate with the product and platform engineering team to integrate these libraries into the product. Work with Data Science to design the solution for the customer problem, including the use of AI and ML models. Lead the technical implementation of Oden solution — configuring and customising the platform, building models and detectors, and combining them with alerts and recommendations to align with customer workflows, processes, and business rules and drive value. Actively develop implementation planning on your accounts — scope, configurations, timelines, and milestones — in collaboration with the Solutions Manager or Customer Success Engineer coordinating the account and delivering results in a timely manner. Post-Implementation Support and Product Feedback Serve as a subject matter expert on Oden’s architecture, APIs, and data models — and stay current as the platform evolves Troubleshoot technical issues across networking, data pipelines, QA, and system configurations, both remotely and on-site. Have a demonstrated ability to understand data and common issues with data and integrations that impact the solution, and be able to independently triage issues and deploy fixes/solutions. Translate field observations and product gaps into structured, actionable feedback for Product and Engineering; you are one of the clearest signals the product team has into what is actually happening at customer sites Provide guidance to customers and internal teams on implementation best practices, integration patterns, and technical methodologies Work directly with the product engineering team to setup requirements, and drive updates and improvements to the product capabilities Documentation Develop and maintain integration documentation to support repeatable, scalable deployments Develop and maintain solution design and implementation documentation to support maintenance, and replicability Continuously update documentation based on customer feedback, product changes, and lessons learned across the account base Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role — Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar — supporting enterprise SaaS deployments or digital transformation projects Programming experience: Python, Golang or equivalent, SQL, REST APIs, familiarity with Bash and terminal-based workflows, AI-powered coding assistants Strong experience with large datasets - management, processing, analysis - using off the shelf analytical tools, including AI tools. Experience with distributed systems, middleware and integration toolsets, Windows and Linux operating systems, enterprise networking and troubleshooting, and deploying and maintaining remote applications. Have strong experience understanding and debugging issues with performance, correctness, and reliability of these integrations. Comfortable with Google Cloud. Technically strong and comfortable working independently on complex integration problems — you can go deep on a technical challenge, work through it methodically, and communicate progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong written communication skills: technical documentation, customer-facing summaries, and internal knowledge sharing Strong project management and self-organisation skills; able to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where requirements shift and no two accounts look the same Willingness to travel to customer sites ~25–40% depending on deployment phase Hold a US drivers license Based in NYC metro, Atlanta, Chicago, Austin, Boston, Minneapolis Nice to Have Direct experience working in manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, reliability, or OT — having worked on or alongside a production floor Customer-facing exposure to manufacturing, field management, construction, or other operational technology environments - ability to be credible in industrial environments. Familiarity with OEE, fault analysis, predictive analytics, or production AI use cases in a manufacturing context Experience with data pipeline tooling (Airflow, Databricks, or similar) and BI or dashboard platforms Prior experience at a growth-stage industrial technology or SaaS company (30–200 people) Experience contributing to product feedback loops and roadmap prioritisation in a customer-facing role Compensation We anticipate hiring this role at either the Senior Associate level ($95,000 to $130,000 base) or the Senior level ($115,000 to $160,000 base), depending on the candidate`s experience, skills, and internal equity considerations, in addition to equity and benefits. At this time, we cannot offer visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship At Oden, we are deeply committed to ensuring that every team member is engaged in work they are passionate about and find fulfilling. We prioritze your career development, offering personalized pathways for growth and advancement. Vividly

Solutions Engineer

Vividly

United States

Vividly is the leading modern trade promotion management (TPM) solution built by and for the consumer packaged goods industry. From campaign creation to deductions management and promotion measurement, we help brands manage every element of trade spend. With our easy-to-use platform and industry-leading experience, we pride ourselves on our ability to bring businesses to the next level. Not familiar with trade promotion spend? That’s OK. Most people aren’t. It’s an $8 trillion dollar problem that is ripe for disruption by an innovative SaaS startup. In order to grow, consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands spend 20% of their topline revenue to get into retailers and promote their products within those retailers. The problem is that today 70% of those promotions are not ROI positive. This is because ROI is hard to track. The industry operates on emails, pdfs, and xls spreadsheets. At Vividly, we’re solving this massive problem with exciting tactics including AI, Machine Learning, and Fintech and adding value to everyone in the chain. Some of our customers include brands you may use and love - Liquid Death, Amy’s, and Perfect Snacks. We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer who can bring deep CPG knowledge into the sales process and translate complex customer challenges into compelling Vividly solutions. This role is ideal for someone who understands how CPG organizations actually operate, particularly across trade promotions, deductions, accounting, sales finance, or revenue management, and wants to apply that expertise in a technology environment. You don't need to come in knowing every Vividly feature or having spent your career as a traditional Solutions Engineer. We can teach our product, technology, and demonstration methodology. What we're looking for is someone who can understand a customer's business quickly, ask the right questions, connect the dots across workflows, and communicate a solution with credibility. What You'll Achieve As a Solutions Engineer, you'll become an expert in Vividly and serve as a trusted solution partner throughout the sales process. You'll partner closely with Account Executives to understand how prospective customers manage trade today, uncover where their processes are breaking down, and demonstrate how Vividly can help them operate differently. You'll lead discovery and tailored demonstrations across workflows such as trade promotion planning, deductions, accruals, forecasting, reporting, and financial reconciliation. You'll work with stakeholders across Sales, Accounting, Finance, Operations, and IT, adapting the solution story to what matters most to each audience. You'll also play an important role in setting customers up for successful onboarding. You'll identify implementation considerations, integration dependencies, business requirements, and potential risks before Closed Won and ensure that context transfers cleanly into Solution Architecture and Implementation. Beyond individual opportunities, you'll help strengthen how Vividly sells by developing reusable solution stories, improving discovery practices, sharing CPG expertise across the organization, and bringing recurring customer needs back to Product and Customer Experience. In This Role, You'll Help The Team: Lead business and solution discovery alongside Account Executives to understand customer workflows, pain points, priorities, and desired outcomes. Deliver compelling, tailored demonstrations that connect Vividly capabilities to real customer problems and business outcomes. Understand and solution across trade planning, deductions, accruals, forecasting, reporting, profitability, and related CPG workflows. Translate complex customer processes into clear future-state workflows within Vividly. Engage confidently with stakeholders across Sales, Accounting, Finance, Operations, IT, and executive leadership. Uncover requirements customers may not initially recognize by asking thoughtful questions and connecting processes across departments. Understand the customer's broader technology and data environment, including ERP systems, retailer/distributor data, syndicated data, and other systems supporting trade. Partner with Integration Solutions Engineering when deeper technical discovery or integration feasibility validation is required. Identify implementation dependencies, potential solution gaps, risks, and customer readiness considerations before Closed Won. Partner with Sales to ensure proposed solutions and customer expectations align with Vividly's capabilities. Document key workflows, requirements, assumptions, decisions, and commitments so customers don't have to restart discovery after the sale. Partner with Solution Architecture on complex opportunities and provide a structured handoff after Closed Won. Stay current on Vividly capabilities, integrations, product releases, and relevant CPG industry trends. Bring recurring customer needs and market feedback back to Product, Customer Experience, and Sales. Help develop reusable demonstrations, discovery frameworks, solution patterns, and enablement that improve how Vividly sells. Serve as a CPG subject matter expert across the organization and help teammates better understand the operational realities of our customers. You May Be A Good Fit For The Role If You: Have 3+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or a similar customer-facing solution role, with CPG industry experience strongly preferred but not required. Have experience solutioning complex business, commercial, or financial workflows, with Trade Promotion Management experience considered a plus. Have experience discovering and solutioning complex business and financial workflows, with exposure to areas such as revenue, accounting, forecasting, payments, or financial reporting. CPG trade experience is a plus. Can quickly understand how a business operates, identify underlying problems, and recommend a better approach. Are a strong communicator who can make complicated workflows easy to understand. Are comfortable presenting to groups and engaging stakeholders with different levels of seniority and functional expertise. Can tell a compelling story rather than simply walk through product features. Are curious, consultative, and comfortable asking challenging questions when a customer's stated requirement may not solve the underlying problem. Have experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms. Have enough technical curiosity to understand integrations, APIs, data flows, and system dependencies without needing to be an engineer. Learn software quickly and are comfortable navigating and demonstrating complex SaaS applications. Can operate independently, move quickly, and adapt when requirements or priorities change. Are comfortable working in ambiguity and creating structure where processes are still evolving. Have strong judgment and know when to pull in Product, Integrations, Solution Architecture, or other SMEs. Want to have a foundational impact at a high-growth startup. Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, Implementation Consultant, or with TPM/RGM technology is a plus but deep CPG expertise combined with strong communication, curiosity, and learning agility can be equally valuable. How You'll Work You'll work closely with Sales, Solution Architecture, Integrations, Product, Implementation, and Customer Success. Our operating model is built around a simple principle: Solutions Engineering determines how Vividly can solve the customer's problem. Solution Architecture turns that solution into an executable implementation design. During the sales process, you'll own the solution story, understanding the customer's business, validating fit, demonstrating the future state, and surfacing the requirements and dependencies that matter. For highly technical requirements, you'll partner with Integration Solutions Engineering rather than being expected to independently architect every API or ERP integration. For complex implementation design, you'll bring Solution Architecture into the conversation early rather than waiting until after the deal closes. Once a customer becomes a customer, you'll provide a structured handoff so the onboarding team understands what was sold, why it was designed that way, what matters most to the customer, and what risks or dependencies have already been identified. The goal is simple: win the right customers, design the right solution, and make Closed Won feel like a continuation of the customer journey - not a restart. Compensation Range: Base salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year On-Target Earnings (OTE): $180,000 per year This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position, based on current national and/or regional market data. Minimums and maximums may vary by geography. Individual pay will be determined by factors such as skills, experience, and role relevance. In addition, for this role you will be eligible for On-Target Earnings (OTE): the total compensation you can expect if you achieve 100% of your sales targets (base salary + commission/bonus). Actual earnings may vary depending on performance and other factors. Why Choose Vividly? About Us: Verifiable is a provider credentialing and network monitoring platform, delivery industry-leading AI, API and Software solutions to help healthcare organizations optimize operations at enterprise scale. We are a top Salesforce partner, winning the 2024 Salesforce Partner Innovation Award, and also were named to Inc. 5000 2025, the most prestigious ranking of America's fastest-growing private companies. We work with leading healthcare organizations such as Humana Dental, Talkspace, Headway, Empower Pharmacy, and many others. Verifiable is a fast-moving, early-stage team that values impact, ownership, and follow-through. Everyone here rolls up their sleeves, dives into ambiguity, and takes end-to-end responsibility for meaningful work. Priorities shift, problems aren’t always perfectly defined, and we move with urgency—so we look for people who are energized by hard problems, rapid learning, and stepping in wherever the team needs support. We’re collaborative and human, but we keep a high bar. If you thrive in a scrappy, high-ownership environment where your work directly shapes the company’s trajectory, you’ll feel right at home here. This is a new role on the Engineering team, created to own the API layer end-to-end.. You'll sit at the intersection of Sales, Implementation, and Support: brought in early on API and web app deals to scope feasibility, owning SOW review for API/web app implementation scope, and serving as the go-to API expert for Support when tickets need deeper technical context. API customers are among our highest-retention, lowest-support-load accounts, and this role exists to protect and grow that. You're a technical, client-facing professional who's comfortable being the person in the room translating between a customer's integration needs and what our platform can actually do. You don't need to be a deep backend engineer — what matters is that you can read and reason about an API, scope an implementation honestly, and communicate clearly and confidently with clients throughout a sales or implementation cycle. You're a self-starter: this role isn't fully defined yet, and you'll help shape it as you go. Key Responsibilities Get involved early in the sales process on API and web app deals to assess technical fit and scope Own SOW review for API and web app implementation scopes Support the implementation of API and web app customers Serve as the escalation resource for API-related Zendesk tickets, closing the current API knowledge gap in Support Act as a resource for upselling and solutioning conversations with existing API customers Coordinate across Sales, Implementation, Engineering, and Support to keep API-related commitments visible and on track Qualifications 3+ years in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales role in B2B SaaS Working familiarity with APIs and integrations — able to scope integration requirements and speak credibly to technical stakeholders, without needing deep backend engineering depth Experience scoping or reviewing statements of work (SOW) with clients Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable being customer-facing from day one Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a role that's still being defined Customer-retention minded — sees API customers as a relationship to protect, not just a ticket queue Self-starter, able to bring structure to a role without much existing precedent Strong cross-functional communicator; equally at ease with clients, sales, and engineers More About Verifiable: We’ve grown to almost 150 employees in 5 years. Steady revenue growth allowed us to secure a $27M Series B led by Craft Ventures, bringing us to $47M in total funding. We value the many benefits of remote work, so we’re fully distributed across the US and internationally.
