Metaview

Product Engineer New Products

Metaview

San Francisco

Build something that did not exist last month. Then own what happens when customers use it. New products at Metaview do not live in an innovation lab. They start with a real customer problem and become production software with the same person responsible from first idea through adoption, failure, and revision. You will work without a fixed roadmap. You will talk to users, find the product insight, prove it through working software, and turn the first useful version into something customers can trust. This is not an incubation role that hands prototypes to another team. It is the same product-engineering remit, entered through zero-to-one work. Engineers move between new capabilities and the products they grow into. Coding was first. Recruiting is next. We are building it. Metaview is an applied AI lab building AI coworkers for some of the world’s most ambitious recruiting teams. Hear directly from our customers . The challenge is not another chatbot. It is software that can pursue a hiring objective, act across real workflows, ask for judgment at the right moment, and earn a customer’s trust. Founded by Siadhal Magos and Shahriar Tajbakhsh, who scaled Uber and Palantir, we have raised more than $50M and are growing 5x year over year. AI coding agents are part of the job, not a perk. Engineers routinely run several in parallel for exploration, implementation, and review. We assess both sides of the craft: how well you direct agents and how well you reason, code, and debug on your own. One interview exercise is completed without AI. Our operating value is velocity Velocity means reducing the time from customer evidence to a reliable product change. It does not mean trading away quality. We ship small changes daily, including Fridays, because the engineer who ships owns production behavior, recovery, and the next revision. Process stays light because customer context and ownership are direct. The goal is not to produce prototypes quickly. It is to discover the right product quickly. You will launch early enough to learn, then stay with the work until the behavior, interface, reliability, and adoption are strong. AI agents help our small team ship roughly 8x more product changes than a year ago. The engineer remains accountable for architecture, review, implementation quality, and production behavior. What you will build and own You will work on problems such as: building agents that can pursue recruiting objectives over days, know when to ask for judgment, and recover safely when a model or tool fails; turning interview and hiring-team conversations into actions, with interfaces that let recruiters understand, correct, and trust the result; finding simple product primitives that unlock broad recruiting workflows; building the interface, APIs, data model, permissions, and production behavior of a new customer workflow; and turning customer behavior into a sharper product opinion and a better next release. In your first 3 to 6 months, you should independently own and ship a bounded customer outcome from problem definition through rollout and iteration. The size of that outcome will reflect your level, but the operating model is the same: make product and technical decisions, contribute the consequential code, and own the production result. You will probably thrive here if You have personally shipped software for external users and owned a meaningful outcome from problem definition through production. You have real depth in at least one technical area and can cross product, frontend, and backend boundaries when the outcome requires it. You use AI coding agents heavily and can still design, implement, review, and debug independently. You want direct customer contact, hands-on implementation, and responsibility after launch. You are energized by turning an ambiguous customer problem into the first useful version of a product. You want to own the unglamorous work after launch, including reliability, adoption, and revision. This opening spans mid-level and staff+ scope under the same hands-on operating model. At mid-level, you will independently own a bounded customer outcome across product and implementation. At staff+, you will still write code while setting direction for a broader area, making hard architectural tradeoffs, and raising the quality of decisions around you. We level on demonstrated scope, not years served. This is a hands-on product IC role. It is not a people-management or model-research role. Our stack includes React, TypeScript, Python, AWS, Postgres, and S3. Experience with these exact technologies is not required. What you want to know We work together in person in San Francisco. This is not a remote role with occasional office attendance. Decisions are made by the people closest to the customer and the code. Read our unfiltered Slack to see how that works in practice. We pay in the top 10% of the SF market through salary and meaningful equity. We re-benchmark against the market twice a year and adjust when compensation drifts. Our process is fast and direct. It is not unusual to hear back the same day. Metaview’s internal IC title is Member of Product Staff, Engineer . For this opening, level and compensation are set at mid-level or staff+ based on demonstrated scope. The work remains hands-on at every level. We offer competitive option grants so we are all owners. We sponsor work visas and support the immigration process from start to finish. In the US, we cover 100% of medical, dental, and vision premiums for you and your dependents. Time off is unlimited. Take the time you need.

Hippo Insurance

Senior Product Manager - Insurance Products

Hippo Insurance

Austin, Texas, United States; Dallas, Texas, United States; Morristown, New Jersey, United States; S

Title: Senior Product Manager, Insurance Products Location: Austin, TX / Dallas, TX / New Jersey, NJ / San Jose, CA (hybrid) Company: Hippo Insurance About Hippo Hippo exists to protect the joy of homeownership. We believe that insurance should protect the things you treasure through an intuitive, modern experience. We provide tailored insurance coverage and preventative maintenance plans that keep you protected throughout your homeowner journey. We’ll also help you find coverage for everything life brings – from auto to flood – reimagining how you care for your home. We are looking for someone who sets aspirational goals and has the agency to deliver them – someone who can think broadly about the future of our insurance product technology while executing with precision in the near term. About You We are looking for a seasoned Senior Product Manager to own Hippo’s Insurance Products charter – the rating and pricing engine, coverage and eligibility logic, business rules, and the core infrastructure that powers how we price and structure risk. This is a strategic, high-impact role that combines platform ownership with direct P&L impact: you’ll set the multi-year direction for our insurance product infrastructure while driving the day-to-day execution that keeps one of Hippo’s most important business lines competitive, compliant, and profitable. You’re comfortable leading large-scale improvements to core infrastructural platforms, and equally comfortable in a strategy conversation and a sprint planning session. What You’ll Do Strategy & Vision Define and own the multi-year product strategy and vision for Hippo’s Insurance Products platform – spanning the rating and pricing engine, coverages, deductibles, discounts, eligibilities, and more. Identify opportunities to modernize and scale the platform in ways that directly improve speed-to-market, profitability, and risk mitigation. Influence and shape company-level prioritization decisions for the Insurance Products platform, building alignment across product, engineering, and business leadership without direct authority. Stay ahead of market, regulatory, and competitive trends – translating them into a roadmap that keeps Hippo’s insurance products competitive. Execution & Delivery Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the Insurance Products platform: discovery, prioritization, requirements, delivery, and post-launch monitoring. Lead the execution of large, cross-functional initiatives, including compliance and regulatory changes, partnering with Insurance, Legal/Compliance, Operations, and Engineering to deliver on time with clear risk mitigation and auditability. Translate insights into crisp requirements (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) and partner closely with Engineering, Design, and Data to ship high-quality, platform-level solutions. Drive measurable outcomes – define success metrics and KPIs, instrument product changes, analyze impact, and iterate based on results. Business & Stakeholder Partnership Serve as the primary bridge between Insurance, Legal/Compliance, and Operations business teams and the Engineering organization – deeply understanding business needs and enabling tech to meet them. Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, earning trust through consistent delivery, clear communication, and a genuine understanding of insurance and risk. Establish a strong operating cadence: prioritization frameworks, stakeholder alignment, launch readiness, training/comms, and performance tracking. Communicate strategy, tradeoffs, and outcomes to leadership with clear narratives grounded in data and customer impact. Platform & Automation Enablement Drive the evolution of Hippo’s rating, pricing, and business rules infrastructure – enabling faster, safer, and more auditable changes to insurance product logic. Identify and lead large-scale improvements to core infrastructural platforms, improving speed-to-market for product changes through tooling, process improvements, and automation. Partner with Engineering to shorten the feedback loop between product decisions and production deployment across the platform. Must Haves 5+ years of experience in product management, including full ownership of the product backlog and leading the end-to-end software development lifecycle in collaboration with a team of at least four engineers, delivering impactful and user-focused solutions. Proven track record of owning or building platform-level products – rules engines, pricing/rating engines, configuration systems, or similar core infrastructure – and leading large-scale improvements to them. You understand how these systems work and what it takes to evolve them safely at scale. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-impact products, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve ambitious goals. Strong stakeholder management skills – proven ability to earn trust across business, technical, and executive audiences, and to navigate competing priorities with clarity and conviction. Data-driven decision making with strong analytical skills. Comfortable defining success metrics, analyzing results, and iterating with discipline. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate product strategies, goals, and roadmaps to diverse audiences, including senior executives, engineers, designers, and customers. Nice to Haves Product management experience in insurance, financial services, or an adjacent industry. Experience with customer engagement platforms, such as Customer.io and Braze. Experience with AI or automation tooling applied to configuration, pricing, or rules-based systems. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field. Benefits and Perks Hippo treats its team members with the same level of dedication and care as we do our customers, which is why we’re fortunate to provide all of our Hippos with: Healthy Hippos Benefits — Multiple medical plans to choose from and 100% employer covered dental & vision plans for our team members and their families. You stay current on what the technology can actually do and bring that knowledge into discovery, design, and prioritization conversations A builder’s mindset: you don’t just write specs and hand them off. You prototype, tinker, use the tools available to you today to explore ideas quickly, and you close the loop between what you ask engineering to build and how it actually works Sharp communication: you can who can influence across engineering, design, go-to-market, and leadership: you write well, present clearly, and earn trust without authority Bonus if you have at least one: Experience in proptech, multifamily real estate, or property operations Experience building products with scheduling, logistics, or real-world coordination at their core Experience working in or alongside a marketplace, CRM, or demand generation product Background in products where trust and safety are design requirements Benefits: Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision plans (ButterflyMX covers 80% of the cost) starting day 1 401(k) plan with a match 10 paid holidays, 20 vacation days, 5 sick days, 3 floating holidays Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (ButterflyMX covers 100% of the cost) Short and Long Term Disability (ButterflyMX covers 100% of the cost) Paid Family Leave Employee Assistance Program Quarterly self-care stipends Access to optional benefits including pre-tax flexible healthcare spending accounts (FSA and HSA), Dependent Care FSA, and Commuter Benefits, as well as optional Supplemental Life, AD&D, Hospital Indemnity, Legal, Accident, Critical Illness, Pet, and Personal Liability Insurance And more!  ButterflyMX is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company. Senior Product Marketing Manager - New Products

Ramp

New York, NY

ABOUT RAMP Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. ABOUT THE ROLE Ramp is building new products that can reshape how finance teams operate. These products begin before the market playbook is obvious: the customer problem is still being sharpened, the product is evolving quickly, and the path from early signal to durable growth must be built. We are hiring a Product Marketing Manager, New Products to lead that work. You will be embedded with Product and Engineering from the earliest stages, using customer and market insight to help choose the audience, shape the product, define the story, and build the commercialization and adoption motion. This is not a launch-calendar or asset-production role. You will own the full business read for the product: customer problem, ICP, positioning, product readiness, launch, pipeline, activation, adoption, retention, proof, and the next product or GTM intervention. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Shape product strategy early. Bring customer, market, and competitive evidence into product decisions before the roadmap is fixed. Help the team identify the wedge, target segment, table stakes, differentiators, and highest-leverage problems to solve. - Find product-market clarity. Define the ICP, buyer, user, jobs to be done, workflow, alternatives, and reasons customers will switch or expand. - Own the product narrative. Build the canonical positioning, messaging, claims, proof, and competitive story. Translate technical and operational complexity into a clear customer value proposition without flattening how the product works. - Design the zero-to-one GTM. Determine how the product should enter the market, including audience, channel, pricing and packaging inputs, sales motion, self-serve motion, launch sequence, and adoption plan. - Lead launches end to end. Coordinate Product, Engineering, Sales, Growth, Creative, Communications, Support, and other partners around one launch strategy, readiness bar, and set of measurable outcomes. - Build commercialization, not just awareness. Create the programs, enablement, proof, and feedback loops that turn interest into qualified pipeline, activation, retained usage, expansion, and revenue. - Work deeply with Product and Engineering. Understand the product's architecture, data, constraints, and trust model well enough to influence tradeoffs and explain it credibly to both technical and business audiences. - Create the customer learning system. Develop direct relationships with buyers and users, run structured discovery, capture objections and product gaps, and turn what you learn into product and GTM decisions. - Own the business scorecard. Define leading and lagging indicators, build a clear operating read, diagnose what is moving or stuck, and recommend the next intervention. - Build proof and competitive intelligence. Develop customer evidence, use cases, benchmarks, and a current view of the market that improve both product decisions and GTM execution. - Use AI as an operating advantage. Apply AI to research, synthesis, analysis, content development, and repeatable workflows—and help the team raise its standard for speed and quality. - Create the new-products playbook. Build a repeatable method for taking an emerging product from customer signal to product-market clarity, launch, commercialization, and scaled growth. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - 6+ years of experience in B2B software product marketing, product management, growth, strategy, or another product-led GTM function, including significant ownership of a product or business outcome. - Demonstrated zero-to-one experience with a new product, category, platform, or business line—from early customer discovery through launch and adoption. - A record of influencing product strategy using customer, market, competitive, and performance evidence. - Strong customer instincts. You can run discovery, identify the real workflow and buying problem, and separate a loud request from a durable market signal. - Technical and operational fluency. You can learn a complex product, work credibly with Product and Engineering, and explain how it works to different audiences. - Exceptional written and verbal communication. You can produce a sharp product narrative, an executive recommendation, a launch plan, and a sales story that survives contact with customers. - Strong data literacy. You can define and interpret activation, adoption, retention, pipeline, conversion, revenue, and product-usage metrics and turn the findings into a decision. - Proven ability to lead senior partners across Product, Engineering, Sales, Growth, Creative, and Marketing without relying on formal authority. - High agency and comfort with ambiguity. You build the first version, test it with customers, make tradeoffs, and improve it quickly. - Fluency with AI tools as part of your everyday research, analysis, writing, and operating workflows. NICE TO HAVE - Experience in fintech, payments, accounts receivable, accounting, developer tools, data infrastructure, AI, or another technical and workflow-heavy category. - Experience taking a product from incubation through product-market fit and scaled commercialization. - Experience with both product-led and sales-led growth motions. - Experience contributing to pricing and packaging decisions. - Experience as an early or founding PMM, product manager, founder, or operator in a fast-moving product area. BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL) - Flexible PTO - Centralized home-office equipment ordering - Health and wellness stipend - Budget for intra-office travel - Weekly coffee stipend UNITED STATES - 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents - One Medical annual membership - 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp - Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year) - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay - Pet insurance - In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more - Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF (if needed) CANADA - Group medical, dental, and vision coverage through Sun Life - Life, AD&D, and disability coverage - Fertility drug coverage (up to $4,000 lifetime) - Group Retirement Plan with employer match (RRSP + DPSP) - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay, with additional time available at reduced pay - Employee Assistance Program and virtual care through Lumino Health UNITED KINGDOM - Private medical insurance through Freedom Elite - Virtual GP and at-home care via eMed x Livi - Workplace pension through Penfold, with salary sacrifice option - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay with additional time available at reduced pay REFERRAL INSTRUCTIONS If you are being referred for the role, please contact that person to apply on your behalf.
